Home to the famous and iconic ruins of Angkor Wat, a massive stone temple complex built during the Khmer Empire and today a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Cambodia is also a popular river cruise destination as the mighty Mekong flows through it, but it is also becoming increasingly popular for its golf courses. The bustling capital, Phnom Penh, boasts the art deco Central Market and the 19th century Royal Palace, as well as the National Museum’s fascinating historical and archaeological exhibits, sure to attract history buffs and culture vultures!
