Malta

Welcome to Malta

Boasting over 3,000 hours of sunshine a year, over 7,000 years of history (and more churches than days in a year!), Malta has so much to offer. Situated in the central Mediterranean between Sicily and the North African coast – and taking plenty of inspiration and influence from both (including in cuisine) – Malta is the epitome of the Mediterranean. It’s an archipelago of 21 islands, the largest being Malta itself and Gozo, surrounded by seas of the most dazzling blue that are popular for sailing, surfing, swimming, and kayaking. Over its long history, it’s played host to the Phoenicians, Romans, the Knights of St. John, Napoleon and the British Empire, many of whom left their mark and legacies on the island, leaving behind phenomenal fortifications and awe-inspiring architecture. There’s so much to see and do in Malta!
