One of South Africa's largest National Parks, Kruger is also its best known, and a number of private reserves run along the Park's western border, with wildlife roaming freely across the area as there's no fences between the national park and private reserves. Kruger is famous for its fantastic 'Big Five' sightings, as well as offering sightings of endangered game, such as the African wild dog, and over 507 different species of bird. Spanning nearly five million acres, Kruger is also one of the world's largest wildlife sanctuaries, and you'll have plenty of opportunities to enjoy many different wildlife and game viewings on game drives throughout your stay.
