Days One and Two - Kathmandu
Welcome to Nepal and its capital, Kathmandu, where you will arrive today and be met by your included arrival transfer. You'll start your wellness programme with a Yog Nindra yoga class, experiencing a style of yoga which aims for a state of consciousness similar to the 'going-to-sleep' stage between waking and sleeping, in which the body is completely relaxed, and the practitioner becomes systematically and increasingly aware of the inner world by following verbal instructions. Once you've relaxed, tonight you have the option to join your Chief Experience Officer (CEO) and fellow travellers for an optional organic welcome dinner. Day two begins early with a Standing Yog Asanas class, working on your strength and flexibility, before breakfast. Afterwards, you'll explore Kathmandu, including visits to the famous Swayambhunath Stupa - also known as the 'Monkey Temple', this is one of the most revered Buddhist Chaityas in Nepal, and offers fabulous panoramic views for its hillside location - and the G Adventures-supported Sisterhood of Survivors Project, where you will enjoy a local lunch and learn how to make momos (dumplings). You'll then continue to one of the largest Buddhist shrines in the world - Boudhanath Stupa - where you will enjoy a meditation class.
